I hope you’re having a wonderful week so far.  Now that I’m coming off my amazing moment high and getting back into my DIY groove, I’m excited to show you the new stenciled shower curtain panel that I recently made for the kids bathroom . You may have seen a sneak peak of the shower curtain a few weeks ago when I shared some Spring updates .  A few of you even commented saying you loved the color choice ( I do too ). It’s bright. Get a “clean” look in your bathroom with a pull-down shower curtain . You roll the curtain up out of the way when not in use. This ceiling mounted shower curtain functions just like a roll-up curtain with a drawstring loop to open and close the curtain. These shower curtains are made by Germany based Eco Dur in a wide variety of styles and colors. The shower curtain appears to be “flatter” than a typical one, perhaps because of the way it’s mounted or the material. It has the look of a glass door but the ability to slide up and out of the way to show off your tilework and to be used around a corner. Is there a more overused trope in horror cinema than the deadly shower scene ?  It's become so predictable, that when a young woman takes a bath or shower in a slasher film, you instantly know she's a goner.  We can blame Psycho for the popularity of the trend in that there have been many, many imitators since. But it isn't limited to slasher films.  If it falls within the horror/thriller genres and it's a B-movie, you stand a pretty good chance of finding a scene where a lady gets killed in a shower or bath.  That's just the way it is. I'll leave it to the armchair sociologists to figure out why.  I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that shower is a place where we're extremely vulnerable.  Also, it's a damn good way for a B-movie to sneak in its gratuitous nudity.
