New diversity of shapes and colours sets standards for the industry
St. Ives, June 2017. – New shapes, new colours and new designs: by consistently expanding its range with almost 80 new washbasin models and versions, Kaldewei is setting groundbreaking trends for the entire bathroom industry. The spectrum ranges from opulent double washbasins to compact handbasins for guest rooms and from filigree luxury models to classics. Available in colour for the first time and in more versions than ever before, the Kaldewei washbasins open up entirely new scope for bathroom design – delivering even more design freedom and individuality in the bathroom. Kaldewei is now expanding into completely new target groups and offering a variety of washbasin solutions, including for public areas, small bathrooms and guest WCs.

Classic undercounter washbasin with round interior
The popular Classic product range is growing. Clients can now have a washbasin to match the Classic Duo family with built-in bathtubs and the new Meisterstück Classic Duo Oval. The Classic washbasin is being launched as an undercounter solution with a round interior. This version leaves plenty of space on the surround for taps, accessories or soap dispenser. The shape and the superior material properties of Kaldewei steel enamel furthermore guarantee fast, easy cleaning. The Classic undercounter washbasin is particularly suitable for use in hotels and public sanitary facilities.

Puro S: An elegant stand-alone
With Puro S designer Anke Salomon has created an elegant, rectangular washbasin for Kaldewei. The clean lines and timeless shape of the countertop washbasin are unique: designed to stand alone, the Puro S’s narrow, precise rims and roomy interior allow it to be placed at will on a console. It can be paired perfectly with modern taps with wall outlet. Thanks to its ability to combine with the models of the Puro bathtub family the Puro S washbasin answers the wish for a coherent design vocabulary and a single material in the bathroom.

Puro double washbasins: ideal for the entire family
The generously-sized versions of the new Puro washbasins are perfect for family bathrooms and public areas. Customers can choose from a washbasin with one large, hollow – either as a single or double washbasin for two sets of taps – or with two individual hollows. The surface between the two hollows provides additional storage space and is made entirely of superior Kaldewei steel enamel. It was designed by Anke Salomon. The Puro double washbasins with their classic and minimalist lines are the perfect complement to the Puro bathtub family.

Hand washbasins basins: Cono and Puro
Kaldewei has developed new hand washbasin solutions especially for fitting out small bathrooms or guest WCs. A convenient hand washbasin has been added to both the Cono and Puro product families. With taps fitted to the side – either on the left or right as desired – space is saved and there is adequate room for small hygiene accessories. These hand washbasins made of superior Kaldewei steel enamel meet the premium manufacturer’s accustomed high standards of quality and are exceptionally robust, easy to maintain and hygienic. The Cono hand washbasin with characteristic square waste cover made of steel enamel complements the minimalist Cono model family.

Further new and groundbreaking products include the fine-edged washbasins of the Miena line, made with a single layer of steel enamel, which are available in either a round or rectangular version. In future all Kaldewei washbasins will be available in the diverse shades of the Coordinated Colours Collection.

Cayonoplan: the bathroom upgrade

Extension of Cayono model range for cost-aware developers and modernisers
St. Ives, July 2017. – Kaldewei’s Cayonoplan is the perfect answer when it comes to designing a nearly flat shower solution, without putting too much pressure on the builder’s budget. It equally benefits young families and those modernising existing buildings, particularly older ones. The enamelled shower surface can be quickly and easily installed – onto a tiled floor, if necessary. With 19 different dimensions, the Cayonoplan also comes in a generous range of sizes.

Flexibility for refurbishing older buildings
The enamelled Cayonoplan shower surface perfectly adapts to many different structural requirements. For instance, if adequate height is available it can be installed at floor level. Where the bathroom does not allow for this – which is often the case in older bathrooms – the shower surface can be installed directly on top of the floor tiles. So that plumbers can handle the installation with even greater ease and speed, on request Kaldewei can deliver the Cayonoplan with the pre-assembled ultra flat tray support that was specially developed for this new shower surface. Additional installation systems for the Cayonoplan are also available: the new FR 53000 FLEX leg frame for different types of built-in installation and the new ESR bodeneben – up to a length of 120 cm – for step-free installation.

Large standing space with all-round profile
The rim height of the Cayonoplan has been designed in such a way that all sides of the shower surface can be placed absolutely flat on the floor. An all-round profile further heightens the sense of maximum safety while showering. The laterally-positioned waste outlet offers several advantages: firstly it ensures maximum showering comfort because of the spacious standing area; secondly the Cayonoplan can be easily and inexpensively installed in place of a bathtub that is no longer wanted because thanks to the waste outlet’s position, no complicated shifting of the bathroom waste pipe is required. This is a big advantage when it comes to refurbishing older bathrooms.

“Perfect Match”: complement for the Cayono product family
For even more diversity, the Cayonoplan is available in all matt shades of the Coordinated Colours Collection. In addition, it can be refined with the virtually invisible anti-slip surface coating, Kaldewei Secure Plus. With its classic design the Cayonoplan perfectly complements the Cayono bathtub family, allowing for a harmonious design vocabulary and single material in the bathroom. In keeping with this idea, the Cayono models pair superbly with Kaldewei’s Puro washbasin line.
